Have future clients contact you first.

I come across web sites that do not take advantage of such an easy thing as lead generation by capturing emails, names and other information. Set up a basic form and wait to see who will contact you. Change up the form and test different offers and messages to see what works best.

Here are a few reasons why its a good idea to have a vehicle to capture names and email addresses on your website.

1. Even if your business is thriving you will need leads at some point in the future when business takes a dip. This is a cost effective way to gather leads and it costs nothing except a little time when reaching out to them with follow-ups.

2. If they gave you their contact info at least you know they are interested in something. Very few businesses rely on cold calls or cold contacts. Today you want to focus on who is reaching out to you. In fact if your marketing and lead capture is done correctly you have people contacting you who are interested in what you offer.

3. Nurture new relationships and expand the pool. As you expand your number of contacts and reach out with relevant information on a regular basis. You will convert a percentage of that pool over time.
