SEO that works... first page on Google!

I get a lot of questions about SEO and whether it is effective. Many clients ask about getting specific results and my answer is always the same... you can not guarantee SEO results and no one should. There are too many variables and the rules change constantly.

I offer two different packages. One is straight-forward on-site optimization, the other is comprehensive on and off-line optimization that is ongoing monthly.

Last week I took the time to actually work on my website, usonconsulting.com which ironically I had not touched in a while. We are so busy taking care of other clients that we sometimes forget to take care of ourselves. I did the on-site optimization package and forgot about it until today. This morning I did a few searches on Google and found that not only did we end up on page one but in many cases we were the first, second and third listing in the non-sponsored results shown.

The website's stats show the increase in site traffic due to the better search results and optimization. Of course the increased traffic is useless without the proper marketing in place on the site to convert those visitors into repeat visitors and captured leads. Fortunately, all that is in place and we are benefiting from the increase in traffic.
