I look forward to sharing my ideas, opinions and comments in an industry that has changed my life and the world. I am grateful and honored that you are viewing my blog and hope that it either helps you or answers any questions you may have. You should always feel free to contact me and I do my best to reply as soon as possible.
A brief overview...
I was born and raised in NYC. I graduated from the High School of Art & Design in Manhattan and then went on to get a Bachelor of Fine Arts from FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology, State University of New York) where I majored in Advertising Design. I pursued Graphic Design and became an Art Director too. With over 20 years of experience I've managed to work in agencies as well as part of in-house creative departments for a wide range of clients.
Today, I own a business that allows me to utilize my creative background as well as some unique skills I picked up in the past few years. It seems that the most important skill I use as an entrepreneur is helping others. Regardless of what I can do or what I have to sell it comes down to "what's in it for me" and "how will this help me" from a client or customer's point of view. When I graduated from college and started working there were no computers in the workplace for designers. I learned on-the-fly on the job and today my business relies heavily on computers since so much of it is relate to the Internet. However, it always comes down to the basics in business and what drives success is the same thing over and over... helping people, nurturing relationships and great customer service.
My business partner has the perfect line..."I make friends for a living".
I hope to expand on this and tie-it into future postings which will certainly revolve around the Internet, Web Design, Creative Marketing and having your own business of course!
Sincerely,
Freddy
